Auction Prime will let you do a lot of things to customize
the content, appearance, and layout of the Item List.
Content :

1. Go to the "Settings" tab, and select "List Columns"
from the list at the left.
2. You'll see a list of the possible information that can
be displayed on the Item List. Simply check or uncheck items
as you desire.
3. Click the 'Item List" tab. You'll see that your new content
selections are already in place.
For these Settings to show up in your next session of AuctionPrime,
you must save them using the "Save Custom List Layout' menu
item under the "Settings" menu.
Width :
You can resize the "Items of Interest" window by putting
your cursor at the edge of the window. When you see the double
arrow cursor, just left click and drag to resize the window.
The Item List will resize along with the window. This setting
will automatically be remembered for your next AuctionPrime
session.
Item List layout
Column Widths
To resize a column in the Item List, place the cursor at
the right hand line of the column heading. A double arrow
cursor will appear. Left click and drag to resize the column.
Column Order
You can rearrange the order of the Item List columns :
1.Click once in the column heading to select the column.
2. Click again in the column heading, and hold down the mouse
button, you'll see red arrows appear at the left of the column
heading.
3. Drag the column heading to your desired new position. You'll
see the red arrows move to show you where the column is about
to be moved to. When its in the right place, just release
the mouse button.
Non-Scrolling columns (Split views)
At the bottom left of the Item List (just left of the
horizontal scroll bar), you'll notice a thick, vertical black
line. When you place the cursor over this line, the cursor
will change into a double headed arrow.
Click and drag using this cursor, and you can split the Item
List into two sections, separated by a thick, dark line..
Once you have two sections, you can then resize the columns
to adjust them to your taste.
The most useful application of this feature is to make your
Item Name stay in view while you scroll the rest of the information
in the list :
1. Use the Split cursor (as described above), to pull the
'split line' to the right, until its as wide as you'd like
your Item Name column to be.
2. Size your Item Name column until it matches up with the
Split Line.
3. Now you have a horizontal scroll bar only under the rest
of the List columns. When you scroll the list horizontally,
the Item Name will stay in view.
Saving your Customized Layout :
When you are satisfied with the way your Item List looks,
be sure to use "Save Custom List Layout", under the "Settings"
menu, to save your custom layout
If you have saved a Custom Layout, AuctionPrime will automatically
use it in future sessions.
Customized colors :
By default, AuctionPrime color codes lines in the Item List
based on Item Status. You control this by selecting "List
Colors/Fonts" on the "Settings" tab.
First, you can completely turn off the color coded lines
by unchecking "Yes, I want color coded rows in the Item List".
If you wish to use color coding, you can completely customize
the colors used. Again, using the "List Colors/Fonts" selection
on the "Settings" tab, you'll see a sample of what the color
coding currently looks like. To change one of them, just click
on it, and then click on "Background Color", 'Foreground Color",
or "Font" in the list to the right. A dialog box will appear
that lets you make your change.
The changes you make are in effect for the current session
only, unless you save them.
When you are happy with your changes, click the "Save Custom
Color Settings" button. Now your custom settings will automatically
appear the next time you run AuctionPrime. They are already
in use for the current session as you make the changes.
If you are making color changes and decide you don't like
them and want to start over, then under the "Settings" menu,
select "Load Default Colors/Fonts".
AuctionPrime remembers whether you are currently using Custom
Colors or the Default Colors. Each time you run AuctionPrime,
it will use your last color settings. You switch back and
forth with menu selections from the "Settings" menu.
