Whenever AuctionPrime notices that you've gotten within
30 minutes of the ending time of a "Remembered" auction, it
will activate an alarm.
A small window will be displayed that shows the item whose
auction is about to end, and the time remaining before the
auction is over. The alarms go away and come back a few times,
finally sounding an audible alert for you each minute for
the last five minutes.
Of course, you'll need to leave AuctionPrime running for these
alarms to work. If you do, just minimize AuctionPrime, and
it will remain in the System Tray.
When you have entered a figure in the "My Bid" field for
an item, these Alarm Screens will show that AuctionPrime is
AutoBidding, which we'll cover with that section.
You can turn off Alarms for items on which you are not AutoBidding.
To do so :
1. On the "Items of Interest" window, select the "Settings"
Tab.
2. In the list at the left, click "Miscellaneous".
3. Uncheck the "Yes, I want to see alarms for 'No Action'
items" checkbox.
You can turn off these Alarms on an individual basis also.
If an Alarm window comes up for an item that you don't want
to see an alarm for anymore, just check the "Stop Alarms for
this item" checkbox, and close the Alarm window. It won't
show up again. This is only good for the current session of
AuctionPrime. If you close AuctionPrime and restart it, these
alarms will appear again.
The above options do not apply to auctions on which you are
AutoBidding. Those alarms will always display, and their Alarm
and Browser windows should not be closed. Closing them will
interfere with the AutoBidding process.
